This is the Shield of Torm, it can only be carried by Torm's faithful if another creature attempts to lift it, it is suffused in holy flame and will burn the wielder unless they are given specific permission by an embodiment of Torm.

While holding this shield, you have a bonus to AC, this bonus scales with Paladin level. (level 5 + 1 AC, level 10 + 2 AC, Level 15 + 3 AC) This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

This shield allows you to cast Shield of faith on an ally within 30 ft, 2 times before a long rest.

A shield is made from wood or metal and is carried in one hand. Wielding a shield increases your Armor Class by 2. You can benefit from only one shield at a time.
