Aestus - آتش پرشور

Born from the spiritual essence of an Ancient Gold Dragon. This polymorphing scimitar/staff was brought into being as a final dying gift. The noble gold dragon, Faerandus sacrificed the last vestiges of his immortal soul to create two artifacts, a mighty polymorphic scimitar/staff and a self-renewing pendant. These artifacts were meant to help and guide his cherished ward, for he knew, that her life's journey would be a difficult and dangerous one.
After creating FaerandusBlessing (the powerful healing pendant), the ancient gold also crafted this magnificent magical blade from an old scimitar. He imbued within the blade, not only a semblance of his young genasi ward's extremely rare transmutable gifts, but also is own visceral hatred against evil dragon kind.

Incandescent Connection

Prolonged attunement to Aestus, (ex: a number of milestones/character levels decided by the player and DM, or reaching the next tier of play), allows the bond between the wielder and the weapon's blazing essence to become more intimate and innate, leading to a stronger synergistic relationship and granting the wielder greater access to the items magics. In exchange, the artifact uses the wielder as a conduit, to perceive the world and its surroundings. Every morning, at sun's first light, the wielder feels dawn's radiance feed the artifact, recharging its ardent energies and replenishing all of its charges.
