Weapon (pistol), legendary

The Twin Pistols of Rhein are a set of expertly crafted and ornately decorated identical pistols: Sirius and Adhara. They were handcrafted in the Von Rhein workshop, an old family business of artificers and inventors. These twin pistols are unique and are generally considered to be Von Rhein’s best work.

The pistols have been seperated and reunited on several occasions, and may be located seperately or found together (kept in an ornate black leather holsterbelt).

You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with these pistols.

Well-balanced: The twin pistols both have the Light property, allowing them to be dualwielded without penalty. You can wield both pistols at once or combine one of the pistols with a light melee weapon. You do not apply your stat bonus to the damage roll of the offhand attack, as usual.

Expert craftsmanship: You gain advantage on repair rolls in combat after the weapon misfires.

Intricate magazine: These pistols have an reload score of 6, as opposed to 4.

It’s up to you to decide whether a character has proficiency with a firearm. Characters in most D&D worlds wouldn’t have such proficiency. During their downtime, characters can use the training rules in the Player’s Handbook to acquire proficiency, assuming that they have enough ammunition to keep the weapons working while mastering their use.

Notes: Bonus: Magic, Damage: Piercing, Damage, Combat, Loading, Range, Ammunition (Firearms)
