While wearing this belt, your Strength score changes to 29. The item has no effect on you if your Strength without the belt is equal to or greater than 29.
In my games I allow creatures with at least a 22 or higher STR stat to wield two handed weapons one handed. I also change the weapon damage stats to compensate for one handed use.
30 (the max for any creature) is a +10 modifier, so 29 is a +9 Strength modifier. Normally, the highest a Player Character can go is 20 (+5) with Barbarians as the exception, so this is a huge power boost for any Strength-reliant character.
hmmm the only belt that makes my half orc's fist into something that can actuly break down a door
What would be the carrying capacity of a Medium humanoid wearing this?
15 * STR = 15 * 29 = 435 pounds (approx. 197 kg)

But a draft horse with 18 STR has a carrying capacity of 540 lbs?
thats becaus a draft horse is large thats 18Ă—30 540
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks.
It just doesn't make sense that someone with (almost) the STR of a tarrasque can only carry 435 lbs.

All I can say is lol
So many helpful comments here (not being sarcastic)
So overpowered
Yes.
what's the cost of it?
Can u imagine what ur sprite could if u gave it this
me being stronger then a large draft horse with 600 pounds of carry capacity with only 20 strength
Would that be a +7, +8, or +9 modifier?

Yes. It's a horse.
Now Imagine if a half-Orc Barbarian gets hands this
29 strength (1st Edition stat measurement system)= +20 Str Modifier. Ander now has the strength needed to man handle Grumsh
And on a Nat 20 means 20+20 equals 40 Strength
