While wearing this belt, your Strength score changes to 29. The item has no effect on you if your Strength without the belt is equal to or greater than 29.
In my games I allow creatures with at least a 22 or higher STR stat to wield two handed weapons one handed. I also change the weapon damage stats to compensate for one handed use.
30 (the max for any creature) is a +10 modifier, so 29 is a +9 Strength modifier. Normally, the highest a Player Character can go is 20 (+5) with Barbarians as the exception, so this is a huge power boost for any Strength-reliant character.
