Armor (plate), artifact (requires attunement by a Fighter)

This silver plate armor is decorated with engravings of a fierce battle between a fighter and a gargantuan 7-headed hydra.

While attuned to this armor you gain the following benefits.

  • This armor acts as a +3 plate armor
  • Gain Resistance to one of the following damage types: Fire, Lightning, Acid, Poison, Cold, Necrotic, or Thunder (you may switch the element of your choice daily at dawn)
  • you may call upon the latent magical energy of this armor and restore 2d12+(2 x Constitution modifier) in health, you can not use this power till the next dawn
  • Double your constitution modifier when determining maximum health, and after attuning to this armor raise your max health to the new appropriate number
  • 2 random minor beneficial properties and 1 random major beneficial property

 

Plate consists of shaped, interlocking metal plates to cover the entire body. A suit of plate includes gauntlets, heavy leather boots, a visored helmet, and thick layers of padding underneath the armor. Buckles and straps distribute the weight over the body.
