Traits

Slime Soaked Form. The pandemonium slug has advantage on resisting being Grappled.

Split. When a pandemonium slug that is Medium or larger is subjected to slashing or fire damage, it splits into two new pandemonium slegs if it has at least 10 hit points. Each new slug has hit points equal to half the original slug's, rounded down. New slugs are one size smaller than the original slug.

Spider Climb. The pandemonium slug can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

Actions

Multiattack. The pandemonium slug makes two Slam attacks and one with its Noxious Spit.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage. On a hit, the target takes an additional 1d8 of poison damage and must make a Constitution Saving Throw of 12 and become Poisoned for 1 minute on a fail.

Noxious Spit. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d8 + 4) acid damage. On a hit, the target  must make a Dexterity Saving Throw of 12 and on a fail take 1d4 of poison damage. In addition, nonmagical armor worn by the target is partly dissolved and takes a permanent and cumulative -1 penalty to the AC it offers. The armor is destroyed if the penalty reduces its AC to 10.

Description

Pandemonium Slugs are large, ghastly looking slugs that make their home in the depths of Pandemonium and are raised as pets by the Acanthians. They are extremely dangerous and spit an extremely noxious and devastating spit that can dissolve even the strongest of metals.

They devour their prey with this noxious spit which dissolves their prey allowing for easier digestion.

They are green in colour and covered in a slick, toxic mucus that the Acanthians like to coat their weapons in. They have two bulbous eyestalks, but they cannot see from them and are naturally blind. Their bodies are also covered in small purple sacs that are used to store the spit that they expel.
