Traits

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Production. The dragon can produce up to 12,000 gallons of Pepto-Bismol in a day.

Actions

Multiattack. The dragon can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (2d10 + 10) piercing damage plus 14 (4d6) fire damage.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (2d6 + 10) slashing damage.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +17 to hit, reach 20 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d8 + 10) bludgeoning damage.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 21 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Pepto-Bismol Breath (Recharge 5–6). The dragon exhales massive quantities of Pepto-Bismol in a 90-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 24 Constitution saving throw, taking 91 (26d6) magical bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Any creature who takes damage this way will have their movement speed halved for the rest of the round due to being covered in excessive amounts of Pepto-Bismol.

Legendary Actions

The dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Tail Attack. The dragon makes a tail attack.

Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 25 Dexterity saving throw or take 17 (2d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.

Description

The odor of detergent and your grandparents' bathroom surrounds a pink dragon, dripping with pink slime. Its horns seem to meander from its head in random directions and its snout spews a delicate film of Pepto-Bismol at all times. It is constantly checking itself for possible ailments.

A pink dragon will typically harass and blackmail any creature it can, inflicting stomach aches on other creatures and only providing relief after lofty fees.

Lair and Lair Actions

A Pink Dragon’s Lair

Pink dragons lair in half flooded caverns, crevices, and anywhere else they can remain undetected whilst staying close to a sizable human population

With a hoard of pink goo and trinkets stuck to the walls of its lair, a pink dragon will spend much of its time managing, sorting, disposing, and selling its own Pepto Bismol. For a pink dragon, all the world is sick and spreading illness is its way of displaying the sickness of the world and providing the cure for those willing to pay the price. Newly expelled Pepto Bismol will seem to seep into the floor of a pink dragon's lair and sort itself.

Lair Actions

On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • Pepto Bismol erupts from a point on the ground the dragon can see within 120 feet of it, creating a 20-foot-high, 5-foot-radius pink geyser. Each creature in the geyser’s area must make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, taking 21 (6d6) magic bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
  • Pink goo seeps from the floor making the ground difficult terrain for anyone who is not the pink dragon for the rest of combat.
  • Trinkets previously plastered to the sealing loosen and begin to fall all around the pink dragon. all creatures in the pink dragon's lair beside the pink dragon must make a DC dexterity saving throw, taking 9 (3d6) piercing, bludgeoning, or slashing damage on a success or half as much on a failure. The type of damage is determined individually for each creature with a random dice roll
  • One creature that the pink dragon is aware of, must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw as Pepto Bismol begins to spontaneously form inside their body. On a failed save, the creature takes 20 (5d8) poison damage and can gain no benefit from digesting food until a greater restoration spell is cast on them and the pink dragon is either dead or no longer hostile. On a successful save, they take half damage and suffer no additional effect.

Regional Effects

The region containing a legendary pink dragon’s lair is warped by the dragon’s magic, which creates one or more of the following effects:

  • Creatures within 10 miles of the lair complain of frequent and horrible stomach aches, only curable through ridiculous amounts of Pepto Bismol. Creatures entering this 10-mile area will experience these effects after 12 hours in the area.
  • Water sources within 1 mile of the lair are tinted slightly pink and creatures gain no benefit from drinking from them unless they have recently ingested Pepto Bismol.
  • Oozes living within 1 mile of the lair become vaguely pink, have considerably more health, and fall under the control of the pink dragon.

If the dragon dies, these effects fade over the course of 1d10 days.
