Legendary Resistance (5/day). If Atrox fails a saving throw, he can instead choose to succeed.
Regeneration. Atrox regains 35 hit points at the start of his turn. If Atrox takes fire or radiant damage, this trait doesn’t function at the start of Atrox’s next turn. Atrox’s body is destroyed only if he starts his turn with 0 hit points and doesn’t regenerate.
Rejuvenation. When Atox’s body is destroyed, his soul lingers. After 24 hours, the soul inhabits and animates another humanoid corpse on the same plane of existence and regains all his hit points. While the soul is bodiless, a wish spell can be used to force the soul to go to the afterlife and not return.
Turn Immunity. Atrox is immune to effects that turn undead.
Vengeful Tracker. Atrox knows the distance to and direction of any creature against which he seeks revenge, even if the creature and Atrox are on different planes of existence. If the creature being tracked by Atrox dies, Atrox knows.
Honed Reflexes. Atrox has a +14 to initiative. He may also take two reactions per round so long as he has more than 100 hit points.
Spellcasting. Atrox is a 15th-level spellcaster. His spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 18, +10 to hit with spell attacks). Atrox has following Anti-paladin spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): chill touch, toll the dead
1st level (2 slots): hellish rebuke, inflict wounds
2nd level (2 slots): hold person, ray of enfeeblement
3rd level (2 slots): bestow curse, vampiric touch
4th level (1 slots): blight
Multiattack. Atrox uses his vengeful glare then makes three longsword attacks.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 20 (2d10 + 9) slashing damage plus 9 (2d8) necrotic damage.
Vengeful Glare. Atrox targets one creature it can see within 30 feet of it and against which it has sworn vengeance. The target must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the target is paralyzed until Atrox deals damage to it, or until the end of Atrox’s next turn. When the paralysis ends, the target is frightened of Atrox for 1 minute. The frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if it can see Atrox, ending the frightened condition on itself on a success.
Shield. If Atrox is the target of an attack that he can see and his holding his shield, he may use his reaction to add +5 to his AC for the round.
Atrox may take a total of 3 Legendary Actions per round. He regains all spent Legendary Actions at the start of his turn.
Swipe (Costs 1 Action). Atrox makes a single longsword attack.
Move (Costs 2 Actions). Atrox uses up to his full movement, provoking opportunity attacks.
Serve (Costs 2 Actions). Atrox targets a creature that he can see within 120 ft. and targets them with dark magicks. The target must make a wisdom saving throw (save DC 18) or fall under the control of Atrox for 3 rounds or until knocked unconscious. The target takes 22 (5d8) psychic damage on a successful save.
