Camouflage. An astral stalker can take the hide action in any sort of terrain and regardless of whether or not it is obscured.
Elusive. Survival checks made to track the astral stalker are made with disadvantage.
Evasion. If the astral stalker is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, the astral stalker instead takes no damage if it succeeds on the saving throw, and only half damage if it fails.
Innate Spellcasting. The astral stalker's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. The astral stalker can innately cast the following spell requiring no material components:
At will: invisibility (self only)
Magic Resistance. The astral stalker has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Sneak Attack. Once per turn, the astral stalker deals an extra 28 (8d6) damage when it hits a target with a weapon attack and has advantage on the attack roll, or when the target is within 5 feet of an ally of the astral stalker that isn't incapacitated and the astral stalker doesn't have disadvantage on the attack roll.
Multiattack. The astral stalker makes two claw attacks, or makes one claw attack and one throat dart attack.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (2d10 + 5) slashing damage.
Throat Dart. Ranged Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, range 30/120 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, or be paralyzed for 1 minute. A paralyzed creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Unearthly Grace. The astral stalker adds 5 to its AC against a melee attack that would hit it, or alternatively may add 5 to a saving throw it rolls.
Description
Astral Stalkers are abominations created by the gods as weapons for use in the Dawn War. Devious and bloodthirsty killers, astral stalkers have served since the Dawn War primarily as bounty hunters and assassins, though often they hunt simply for the sake of the challenge in cornering dangerous prey.
