Amphibious. The pearlwyrm can breathe air and water.
Deceiving Appearance. When a creature first perceives the pearlwyrm, the pearlwyrm automatically makes a deception check against that creature against it's passive insight. If the pearlwyrm succeeds, the creature views the pearlwyrm as friendly.

Charmed creatures will attempt to walk towards the pearlwyrm, and if the pearlwyrm targets a charmed creature with any ability, it immediately hits. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to any pearlwyrm's Hypnotise ability.

Description
An adult pearlwyrm is a behemoth of a creature. It appears as a mound of pearls until it rears it's head. It's head as well looks benign, having large fake eyes and a small mouth hole that would actually make some people think it was friendly.
The adult pearlwyrm changes it's feeding style from scavenger to ambush hunter. It's combination of pearlescent scales and strange movements can hypnotise lesser prey, enticing them to move closer. It's hypnosis is aided by a low level psionic ability.
Despite it's name, it is of molluscan origin as opposed to related to Dragons or their ilk. In their earlier life they function as scavengers; free-roaming and burrowing into large sea-carrion to feed. If they find a sufficient biomass, however, they can grow to an enormous size.
