Traits

Charge. If the Volcan Bull moves at least 20 feet straight toward a target and then hits it with a Molten Horn attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 11 (3d6) piercing damage.

Thermoregulated Body. When the Vulcan Bull takes at least 20 cold damage in a round or starts it's turn entirely covered/submerged in water, the following attributes are applied:

  1. The Bull's speed is reduced by half,
  2. Loses use of it's Fiery Corona ability,
  3. Cannot use its breath weapon,
  4. Cannot take reactions, and
  5. Cannot use its multiattack action.

These effects last until the end of the Bull's next turn as it's molten core brings it's body back up to temperature.

Fiery Corona. Any creature that starts it's turn withing 5 ft. of the Bull must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) fire damage on a failed save.

Actions

Multiattack. The Vulcan Bull makes one Molten Horn attack and one Seismic Stomp.

Molten Horns. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (4d6 + 7) piercing damage and 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Searing Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 23 (3d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage and 7 (2d6) fire damage.

Volcanic Sneer (Recharge 5-6). The bull exhales sulfurous steam from its nostrils in a 30-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 54 (12d8) fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Description

Hailing from the mountains of Cragstone, the Vulcan Bull is a force of nature that terriforms the land around it with its massive hooves and molten hot core. While peaceful in nature, its great size causes it to destroy nearby villages by causing minor earth tremors and dislodging rocks from the mountain.
