Magic Resistance. The Avatar of Cryonax has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
World of ice. The Avatar of Cryonax creates a 500 feet large ice storm around him. The cold temperature requires characters to succeed on a DC15 constitution saving throw or take 2d6 cold damage at the start of their turn. The storm also reduces sight to 30 feet.

Ice prison (Recharge 6). The Avatar of Cryonax magically forms an opaque pyramid shaped ice spike on a solid surface it can see within 60 feet of it. The is 10 feet thick and up to 10 feet long and 20 feet high.
When the spike appears, each creature in its space is encased in the ice. The creature makes a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw, taking 35 (10d6) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. On a failed save, the creature is considered restrained unless it takes an action to break the condition with a DC17 athletic or acrobatic skill check.
The spike lasts for 1 minute or until the Avatar of Cryonax is incapacitated or dies. The spike can be damaged and breached; each 10-foot section has AC 5, 30 hit points, vulnerability to fire damage, and immunity to acid, cold, necrotic, poison, and psychic damage. If it is destroyed, it leaves behind a sheet of frigid air in the space the wall occupied. Whenever a creature finishes moving through the frigid air on a turn, willingly or otherwise, the creature must make a DC 17 Constitution saving throw, taking 17 (5d6) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The frigid air dissipates when the rest of the wall vanishes.
