lighting eater: when struck with an attack that deals lighting's damage the creature absorbs it and heals the same amount

mindless defence: when reduced to 20 hp or lower it will go a defensive trance and gains the ability to intercept attacks on a members of its pod within 15 ft of itself

tail whip: the creature lashes out with its tails, +2 to  hit, reach 10 ft, on a successful hit deal 3D4 slashing damage and 1D4 lighting

bind:  the ray uses its tail to bind a creature of its choose the creature has to succeed on a contested strength check with the ray or be grappled. And take 2D6 lightning damage every round till they brake free

discharge:  the ray discharges stored electrical energy threw its mouth in a 15 ft line the targets must make a DC 16 dexterity saving throw  or take 4D6 lightning damage or half that on a successful save

intercept: wile in mindless defence the creature can take intercept reaction to take an attack meant for another member of their pod within 15ft of them

Description

a large stingray like creature that drifts threw the void of the Nexis feeding on trace electrical energy from passing storms. 

its body is mostly see threw only noticeable by the slight distortions made made by the light passing threw it, its tails three tails give off a low green glow that intensifies when it is feeding on electricity, the glow also spreads to the belly. 

they are generally good natured unless attacked or interrupted wile feeding.
