Multiple Arms. The hydra has six blade arms.
Whenever the hydra takes 25 or more damage in a single turn, one of its blade arms is cut off.
At the end of its turn, it grows two blade arms for each of its blade arms that fell off since its last turn, unless it has taken acid damage since its last turn. The hydra regains 10 hit points for each blade arm regrown in this way.
Reactive Blades. For each blade arm the hydra has beyond two, it gets an extra reaction that can be used only for opportunity attacks.
Blade Body. Any creature that grapples the Blades Hydra takes 1d8+5 slashing damage when it grapples the Blades Hydra, and at the beginning of each turn if they are currently grappling the Blades Hydra.
If a creature hits the Blades Hydra with an unarmed attack, they take 1d4+5 slashing damage.
False Appearance. While the Blades Hydra is not moving, it is indistinguishable from a mundane pile of sword blades.
Multiattack. The hydra makes as many blade attacks as it has arms.
Blade. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage.
Description
The Blades hydra is a creature forged out of many blades, which forms the creature’s entire body as well as provides the many blades it can use for its attacks. Although its blade arms can be broken off, the Blades Hydra can quickly replace them with other blades from its body.
