Description
These undead beings generally wear dark black, battle-worn plate armor. This armor may be veiled by a tattered cloak or hood. Although most often seen at night, this armor protects the Knight from deadly rays of sunlight, allowing them to walk during the day.
Blood knights once were great warriors in life. Their lust for power caused them to seek out the dark, forbidden powers of blood magic, sacrificing their humanity and cursing themselves to undeath in the process. They have developed their dark arts for use in martial combat, allowing them draw out and absorb their enemy's blood with their greatswords.
When they aren't employed to command undead legions for even greater undead lords, such as a Lich, they are wandering the land, terrorizing and wiping out villages and towns to create armies of their own. Conquest and power are their true goals, and they will do anything in their ability to achieve them.
