Shapechanger. The werecrocodile can use its action to polymorph into a crocodile-humanoid hybrid or into a crocodile, or back into its true form, which is humanoid. Its statistics, other than its AC, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.
Hold Breath (Crocodile or Hybrid Forms only). The werecrocodile can hold its breath for 30 minutes.
Extra Sensory (Crocodile or Hybrid Forms only). The werecrocodile has an extra sensory organ on each scale and osteoderm. Because of this, the werecrocodile gains advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks only in water. This is in a 60 ft. radius around the werecrocodile.
Multiattack. The werecrocodile makes a few attacks: two with its khopesh (humanoid and hybrid forms) one with its bite and one with its tail (crocodile and hybrid forms only) one with its bite and one with its claws (hybrid form only) or one with its tail and one with its claws (hybrid form only).
Bite (Crocodile or Hybrid Forms Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d10 + 5) piercing damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and the werecrocodile can't bite another target. If the target is a humanoid, it must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or be cursed with werecrocodile lycanthropy.
Claws. (Hybrid Form Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d4 + 5) slashing damage.
Tail (Crocodile or Hybrid Forms Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target not grappled by the crocodile. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Khopesh (Humanoid or Hybrid Forms Only). Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (1d8 + 5) slashing damage.
Trip/Sunder Shield. A khopesh, being a sickle-sword has a curved blade. The wielder is able to use the inside curve of the blade to trip or sunder a target. The target must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. The wielder must choose which part of the property to use. If they use the Trip property, and the target fails the saving throw, the target is knocked prone. If the wielder uses Sunder Shield, and the target fails the saving throw, the target drops their shield and its AC bonus modifier, till they pick up the shield again on their next turn. This property of the Khopesh uses 1 Standard Action to use and can be used in the Multiattack Ability once.
Description
The werecrocodile (werecroc for short) is a type of lycanthrope that loves to wait for prey by the waters edge, which they lash out with blinding speed and snare in their powerful jaws. Werecrocs in Humanoid form appear like any other being in society. Their hybrid form is a combination of crocodile and human, while retaining the humanoid posture, torso and legs, they are granted with the head/jaws, the tail, claws and their protective scales/osteoderms of the crocodile. The color of both the hybrid and crocodile forms can range from olive greens, to bronze-ish and even blacks and grays, with some being completely white (albinism) or even completely black (melanistic ). Even though it is harder to spot a werecroc in their humanoid forms in society, most werecrocs are found in swamps, but, reports have found some by coastal waters, and even isolated pockets in deserts with plenty of fresh water. Most werecrocs are solitary, taking a wide range as their territory and will fight other werecrocs for it, but, some are willing to make floats with 4 to 6 individuals.
