Description

Azrom is a military commander, he fights tactically and smart, never losing his cool during a fight, thinking of every possible outcome. If he can, he will study everything he can about his opponent before fighting, learning their strength and weaknesses. Though he hates it, if he is pushed he will retreat from battle rather and fight and die in a losing one. He should be played as a smart strategic enemy who is not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Storms, they are strong fierce forces of nature that leave nothing but destruction and havoc in their wake. Since he was a young cub, Azron always dreamed of being like a storm, strong, fierce, and unbreakable. He spent his entire life as a cub training, fighting, building his strength and endurance to become the like a storm itself. Around the age of 16, Azron began feeling stuck in his pride, he felt his talents as a warrior were being wasted on the relatively peaceful life of his pride. So he set out and for 4 long years traveled the world, meeting new more powerful and dangerous creatures that he had never seen. For those 4 years Azron grew in swelled in new found strength, with each foe he defeated he grew more and more anxious for battle. After besting nearly every creature the land had to offer, Azron turned his gaze elsewhere, to a place no leonin had ever dared go, the sea. At the age of 20 Azron enlisted in the naval academy of the Cordellian Empire, and was accepted after proving his might to the instructors. After his graduation from the academy, it took only 1 year for him to rise to the rank of captain. With his own ship, he was given some freedom to sail the seas, with the exception that he come to his admirals aid when called, and that he didn't leave the waters of the Cordellian Empire. For 3 years he and his crew traveled the seas making a name for themselves in the empire, his admiral was so impressed that he put in a formal request that Azron be promoted to the rank of admiral himself. Overjoyed at this news, he took his crew to a small island just off the northern coast of the Empire to celebrate. After several drinks, he became acquainted with a Tabaxi prostitute named Rishka. After a night together, Azron left and wouldn't hear from Rishka until almost 3 years later. In order to ascend to the rank of admiral, Azron was tasked with taking his crew to an island in off the western coast of the empire and dealing with a surge of elementals that had been plaguing it for some time. After a week, Azron returned to the capital of Cordellia, his ship nearly destroyed, and his crew all dead. He came back carrying a glaive that looked almost as if it was solid silver and would ripple every now and then with what looked like lightning. After some research later on he would discover this was the "Glaive of the Storm" a powerful weapon forged to harness the power of storms. While some the Admirals were upset at the loss of his crew, the all agreed he had completed his quest and was therefore promoted to the rank of admiral.  He was given his own small fleet of 5 ships to command, and even his own fort to watch over. He and his ships sailed around the empire, hunting pirates, sea creatures, anything to increase his renown, the "Glaive of the Storm" granted Azron unnatural control of lightning, and of weather itself earning him the nickname "The Storm". One day while on break at his fort he received a letter from someone named Rishka, the letter read "Dear sir, I hope this letter finds you well. I understand you are busy with important duties but I hope you will read this nonetheless. I write to inform you that our 1 night of passion has bore fruit into that of a daughter whome I have named Tavi. I wouldn't do this ordinarily of course, but circumstances have forced me to ask for your aid. Please I need financial help, I cannot raise our child with the money I make I need but a small sum and you will never hear from me again. Before you ask, yes I'm sure she is yours, she has your eyes, the strong grey eyes of a storm. Please anything you can spare will be fine, yours truly, Rishka. Azron was enraged, who did this whore thing she was, claiming to have bore his child, inconceivable he thought, and yet he couldn't take the chance. Azron and his most trusted crew members set off to the island to see if this womans claims were true, they went in disguise as to not draw attention. Azron didn't even need to get close before he knew the womans claims were true, he saw her walking in the marketplace on the island, a small little tabaxi girl with his same eyes, same fur, same look of longing. He couldn't accept it though, something like this could ruin his career, everything he had worked for could be gone because of one night with a whore. He couldn't just leave them however, and so he left Rishka 100 gold pieces and note saying "Dear Rishka, I've seen the girl and I agree there is no mistaking our resemblance. I cannot accept you though, either of you for my career would be in jeopardy. Take this gold and never contact me again or I swear it will be the last thing you do. Sincerely, the Admiral. With that Azron continued his life with the Empire his years of service making him harder and more ferocious. Many years later he began receiving letters from a girl named Tavi, his daughter, begging for money to treat her mother's illness. Azron at this point however didn't care about either of them, he'd seen enough of this world to know that if they were both weak enough to ask for help, they'd be better off dead. He ignored every single letter his daughter sent, burning them to hide any trace of her existence. He eventually found a wife, a fellow leonin named Sharine and together they had a son named Taruk. Sharine unfortunately died however due to and illness contracted from her husband, a disease transmitted through sexual contact, harmless to Azron, but fatal to all those whome he had sex with. This loss made him even colder, he began pushing Taruk hard to become a great warrior like him. Taruk didn't mind however, and looked up to his father with great admiration despite his cold demeanor. Taruk eventually joined the Cordellian Empires navy as well and became a captain just as fast as his father, Azron pulled a few strings and placed Taruk in his personal fleet. Years later a now 57 year old Azron was recently promoted to the rank of Grand Admiral, yet he is still not finished, Azron will not be satisfied until he proves himself as the greatest the empire has to offer and becomes the Fleet Admiral, the highest rank in the navy second only to the Emporer himself. Azron will see his goals complete and will crush any who get in his way.
