Description
Also known as a terlen, a flying shark possess a pair of large and powerful pectoral fins which it uses like a set of wings to glide through the air after leaping out of the water. They are a hearty and adaptive species that have managed to spread over multiple planes. A full-grown specimen measures 7 to 13 feet long.

Posted Nov 20, 2020pretty good, though odd since their thing is being able to fly and being described as being able to hunt on land, air, and sea, so i'd have given it the 60ft swim speed, since they are said to be faster in the water, but also a 40ft fly speed so they can actually hunt on land and air either by flying or hovering, obviously being amphibious

Posted Nov 20, 2020I decided not to give this iteration of the terlen a walking speed; it didn't make sense for its physiology: that of a shark with wing-like pectoral fins. It's swimming speed matches that of a reef shark. I also took away its flying speed to give is a glide to make it more of a natural creature than a supernatural/magical one. This version is basically what happens when a shark learns to jump like a flying fish.
