Description
A monster that lives at the bottom of a well, a Well Man is a dark creature with elongated proportions and skin that is and inky black to help them hide in the darkness. A Well Man will reside at the bottom of the well and any creature that dies in the well has its soul devoured by the monster.
This creature is nocturnal and prefers to drag its victim, be it humanoid or otherwise, into the well to drown it. Despite their thin frames, they are strong. It is difficult to know if a well has a Well Man in it as they seem to only come out for food after one to three months after eating a soul, the type of soul seemingly being the factor. Bodies of victims are often found far away from the well days later.
A Well Man seems to prefer human souls above all others but seems to be able to consume any soul. Beware a well at night, you never know what is lurking inside. Should you see two red glowing eyes looking up from the darkness, run.
