Volatile Biology. If damage reduces the Other to 0 hit points, or if the Other suffers any piercing damage, it explodes. All creatures within 10 feet of the Other must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 acid damage on failure and half as much on success.
This effect can chain, killing other Bloated Others in the vicinity and triggering their Volatile Biology feature.
Non-Other Creatures that fail the check are also blinded, as acid splashes into their eyes; this blindness can be removed by washing eyes with clean water.
Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +0 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6) bludgeoning damage.
Bile Spray. The bloated other spews putrid seawater and rotting bile in a 15 foot cone. Creatures in the affected area must make a DC 14 Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 acid damage and 2d6 poison damage on failure, and half damage on success.
Description
Bloated Others resemble animate drowned corpses. Clumsy and slow, these creatures are hardly a threat until punctured or destroyed.
