Festpouch. The Adesko carries a colorful pouch in which it stores the bewitching culinary creations that fuel its Feed action.
Feed. The Adesqo retrieves a culinary creation from its Festpouch and throws it up to 20 feet away, roughly covering a square that is 20 feet on each side (roll a d6 to determine which type of culinary creation it is). Any creature within 5 feet of the square must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, the creature must use its reaction (if available) to scoop up and eat some of the culinary creation, and become cursed by the magical effect described below for the type that it has eaten. The magical effects require no concentration by the Adesqo (even if the effect mimics a spell that would normally require concentration ), and the creature gets no saving throw against the effect even if it mimics a spell that ordinarily allows a saving throw. There is enough of the culinary creation on the floor for 5 creatures to eat some of it. Culinary Creations:
1. Glazed Apples. The creature is charmed by the Adesqo for 1 minute.
2. Buttered Turkey Legs. The creature suffers the effects of the slow spell for 1 minute.
3. Shortcake. The creature shrinks as per the enlarge/reduce spell for 1 minute.
4. Sugarplums. The creature becomes [Tooltip Not Found] to piercing, slashing and bludgeoning damage for 1 minute.
5. Cherry Cobbler. The creature takes 2d8 radiant damage and is stunned until the end of its next turn.
6. Shepherd's Pie. The creature takes 3d6 poisoning damage and is [condition][poisoned][/spell] for one minute.
Glutton. The Adesqo targets one creature that is within 60 feet of it and currently cursed by the effects of a Culinary Creation. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or be polymorphed into a pig for 1 hour. The pig has the statistics of a Boar, except that it lacks the Charge and Relentless features and its only Action is Bite, +0 to hit and 1d4 piercing damage. The Adesqo must concentrate to maintain the polymorph effect, but the concentration can maintain the effect against up to four creatures that it has transformed in this way.
Description
An Adesqo (a-desk-oh) is a small but rotund fey who is preoccupied with feeding and fattening its prey. Adesqos look somewhat like very fat halflings, except that they have radiant eyes of silver or gold, wear loose-fitting colorful robes, and have disturbing, oversized smiles that take up virtually the entire lower half of their faces.
They live to subdue prey using their Feed and Glutton abilities. Once they have turned their prey into pigs, they and their minions attempt to round up the animals and cage them, to be enslaved or perhaps eaten later.
