Pathfinder. The Aeillan Antesignani ignores difficult terrain, advantage on initiative, and advantage on attack rolls made against opponents that have not acted on the first round of combat.
Humanoid Favored Enemy. The Antesignani have advantage on Wisdom (tracking) checks to track humanoids and constructs, advantage on saving throws to resist spells and abilites of humanoids and constructs. The Antesignani deals an additional +4 damage to humanoids and constructs.
Expert Ambushers. If the Antesignani prepares an ambush, those seeking to detect them roll with disadvantage and are at a -10 to their Passive Perception.
Fleet Footed. The Antesignani can use Dash as a bonus action.
Mark. As a bonus action the Antesignani can mark a target. The target receives an additional d6 damage from successful attacks made against it by this or other allied Auxilia. Additionally, the Auxilia has an additional d6 added to saving throws from attacks made by the marked target.
Heavy Archery. The Antesignani may add its strength modifier made to damage rolls made with long bows and short bows.
Minikitheís (2/day). If the Evokatoi would fail a strength, dexterity, or constitution saving through, it can re roll the saving throw, accepting the second result.
Multiattack. The Aeillan Antesignani makes two attacks with its longbow, or two with its rapier.
Longbow. Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (1d8 + 8) piercing damage.
Rapier. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d8 + 3) [damage type] damage.
Take Cover. The Aeillan Antesignani adds a d4 to their armor class against a single ranged attack that it can see that would hit it. If the attack is successfully avoided the Antesignani may take the hide action.
Description
Elite pathfinders of the Aeillan Hetairoi, they serve as scouts, and raiders far ahead of the main army. They tend to be self sufficient, and are trained in horse archery and are often given horses to ride.
