Grasping Hands. The Big Eater can attack with its Arms as a Bonus Action. Creatures that start their turn within 5ft of the Big Eater are immediately attacked by its Arms. This does not require an Action or a Reaction.

Aura of Consumption. All creature within 15ft of the Big Eater must make a dc 15 Charisma saving throw or become charmed by the creature. The Charm lasts until the creature takes damage or succeeds on its saving throw. While charmed this way the creature must use its action and movement to feed the Big Eater by throwing anything it perceives as edible into the creatures mouth. If nothing edible is available the creature will attempt to feed itself to the  Big Eater. At the begining of each of the creatures turns it may repeat the saving throw to escape from the charm.

Meld into Darkness. As a Bonus Action, the Big Eater can meld into Dim light or Darkness. While melded in this way the Big Eater can occupy a space as small as 5 cubic feet. While melded attacks against this creature have disadvantage unless they do Radiant damage.

Actions

Multiattack. The Big Eater makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its tail.

Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 34 (5d10 + 7) Bludgeoning damage plus 7 (2d6) Necrotic damage and the target is Grappled (escape DC 16). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the Big Eater can't bite another target.

Swallow. The Big Eater makes one bite attack against a Medium or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the The Big Eater, and it takes 17 (5d6) Necrotic damage at the start of each of the Big Eater's turns. The Big Eater can have upto 3 targets swallowed at a time.
If the Big Eater dies, a swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 5 feet of movement, exiting prone. A creature that dies while swallowed by the Big Eater cannot be ressurected short of a Wish spell.

Arms: Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., two targets. Hit: 17 (6d4 + 2) [Bludgeoning] damage plus 7 (2d6) Necrotic damage and the target is Grappled (escape DC 14). Until this grapple ends, the creature is Restrained. The Big Eater can grapple up to 3 medium sized creatures in this way.

Tail. Melee Weapon Attack:+10 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: (3d8 + 7) Bludgeoning damage.

Screech of Starvation (Recharge 6): The Big Eater lets out a deafening wail that can be heard from a mile away. Creatures within 30ft of the Big Eater that can hear it must make a dc 14 Constitution saving throw or take 17 (5d6) points of thunder damage and gain a level of exhaustion. The creature also gains a Weakness to Necrotic damage. If the target is Resistant or Immune to Necrotic damage it does not gain this weakness. A creature that succeeds on its saving throw takes no damage and is unnafected by the other effects of the Screech of Starvation.

Reactions

Consume Magic. if the Big Eater is targeted by a spell of 5th level or lower that deals damage or forces it to make a saving throw, it can use its reaction to be unaffected by the spell and take no damage by swallowing the spell whole. It then regains hit-points equal to the level of the spell times 10.

If a Big Eater swallows a Spell that deals [Radiant] damage it instead takes damage normally and automatically fails its saving throw. Additionally it regurgitates any creatures swallowed by its Swallow ability.

Description

Born from splintered fragments of the Negative Energy plane Big Eaters represent the primal hunger and drive to consume that lives within every living being. They Gorge themselves on the very world around them in a fruitless attempt to satisfy what cannot be satisfied. It enthralls the minds of those around it, appealing to their own primal urges to eat and consume, and forces them to indulge its voracious appetite.

Standing as tall as a two story building on four squat limbs, The Big Eater resembles a colloassal pitch-black Tadpole whose body seems composed entirely out of a slick tarlike substance. It moves similiar to an ape on all fours, leaning on the palms of its hands for balance while its larger froglike hind legs support most of its weight. Its mouth is grotesquely humanoid with large and full almost feminine lips taking up almost the entirety of its smiling face. These lips hide a gaping maw, lined with brick sized pearly white teeth.

Surrounding its Eyeless face are dozens of grasping Human hands made of the same tar-like substance as the rest of its body. When not shoveling food into the beasts waiting mouth these arms flail about slowly, as if trying to escape their current fate. The Big Eater is completely blind and deaf, relying instead on its innate ability to track down life to locate its prey. Though it can communicate psychly, and uses this ability to communicate with those it see's as allies, these relationships only last as long as the allies food supplies do.

These Beasts are most often encountered in the Abyss or the Underdark. Chewing their way tirelesly through solid stone, searching for even the most remote traces of life to consume. Big eaters see all life as a meal, and humanoids as a potential means to an even greater meal. Their one track minds can at most be temporarily convinced into not consuming others if food is involved, but these pacts are always doomed to fail, for the void can never be satisfied
