Traits

Empowered Attacks. Amalgam of fire's slam attacks are treated as magical for the purpose of bypassing resistance and immunity to nonmagical weapons.

Fire Aura. At the start of each of Amalgam of Fire’s turns, each creature within 10 feet of it takes 17 (5d6) fire damage, and flammable objects in the aura that aren’t being worn or carried ignite. A creature also takes 17 (5d6) fire damage if it touches Amalgam of fire or hits it with a melee attack while within 10 feet of it, and a creature takes that damage the first time on a turn that Amalgam of Fire moves into its space. Nonmagical weapons that hit Amalgam of Fire are destroyed by fire immediately after dealing damage to it.

Fire Form. Amalgam of Fire can enter a hostile creature’s space and stop there. He can move through a space as narrow as 1 inch without squeezing if fire could pass through that space.

Illumination. Amalgam of Fire sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius and dim light for an additional 60 feet.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Amalgam of Fire fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Innate Spellcasting. Amalgam of Fire’s innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 20, +12 to hit with spell attacks). It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: fireball, wall of fire

3/day each: fire storm, haste, teleport

Magic Resistance. Amalgam of Fire has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Actions

Multiattack. Amalgam of Fire makes two slam attacks or two flame blast attacks.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 18 (2d10 + 7) bludgeoning damage plus 18 (5d6) fire damage.

Flame Blast. Ranged Spell Attack: +12 to hit, range 250 ft., one target. Hit: 35 (10d6) fire damage.

Summon Elementals (1/Day). Amalgam of Fire summons up to ten fire elementals. Summoned elementals have maximum hit points, appear within 100 feet of Amalgam of Fire, and disappear if Amalgam of Fire is reduced to 0 hit points.

Legendary Actions

Amalgam of Fire can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Amalgam of Fire regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Heat Wave (Costs 1 Action). Amalgam of Fire creates a blast of heat within 300 feet of itself. Each creature in the area in physical contact with metal objects (for example, carrying metal weapons or wearing metal armor) takes 9 (2d8) fire damage.

Fire Wall (Costs 2 Actions). Amalgam of fire creates a 100 foot wide and 20 foot tall wall of flame within 50 feet of itself. Any creatures that starts or ends its turn within 5 feet of the wall takes 9 (2d8) fire damage. The wall obscures sight through it for any non-elemental creatures. Fire wall lasts until the end of Amalgam of Fire's next turn. Amalgam of fire can use one legendary action to move the wall up to 20 feet, this resets its duration.

Combustion (Costs 3 Actions). Amalgam of Fire causes one creature it can see within 30 feet of it to burst into flames. The target must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 70 (20d6) fire damage and catches fire. A target on fire takes 10 (3d6) fire damage when it starts its turn, and remains on fire until it or another creature takes an action to douse the flames. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and doesn’t catch fire.

Description

Amalgam of FIre is the personification of the element of fire. All Amalgams are tied to the Amalgam of Spirit and cannot move more than 30 feet from it. If the Amalgam of Spirit drops to 0 hitpoints so too do the other Amalgams.
