Greater Holy Aura. Any creature that moves or starts their turn within 10-feet of the Aureal Battlemage must succeed a Constitution saving throw (DC = 18) taking 6d6 radiant damage on a failure or half as much on a success. Creatures that fail their save are blinded for up to 1-minute. Blinded creatures can reattempt their saving throws to end this effect at the end of each of their turns. The Greater Holy Aura now sheds bright light out to 30-feet and dim light an additional 30 feet.
Multiattack. The Aureal Battlemage makes two spell attacks.
Staff. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (1d6 + 6) [bludgeoning] damage.
Incinerate. Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 28 (4d8) [fire] damage.
Radiant Smite. Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 120 ft., 1 target. Hit: 28 (4d8) [radiant] damage.
Pillar of Flame. The Aureal Battlemage can create a 5-foot wide, 30-foot tall pillar of flame centered on a point they can see within 90-feet. Any creature within the Pillar of Flame must succeed a DC 18 Constitution saving throw taking 8d6 fire damage on a failure, or half as much on a success. The Aureal Battlemage can move their Pillar of Flame up to 30 feet on their turn.
Greater Blink. As a reaction to being attacked, the Aureal Battlemage can perform a short-range teleport disappearing and reappearing at a position of their choice up to 90-feet away. Moving in this fashion does not provoke attacks of opportunity.
Shield. As a reaction to being attacked, the Aureal Battlemage can create a magical shield in order to protect themselves. Doing so magically increased their armor class by 2 until the start of their next turn.
Description
Aureals are a quasi-elven people with pale white skin and golden hair and eyes. They adorn themselves with armor of heavy interlocking golden scales and wield golden armaments. They are very haughty, severe, and often short-tempered, especially towards humans whom they look down upon. Aureals are an immortal race and thus do not fear death. They believe that death in service of their creator is the greatest act they can perform. When slain, an Aureal can be summoned back into existence by their creator with all the knowledge, experience, and memories its possessed before its death. Aureal's are direct rivals of the Mazken, their darker cousins.
