Identity theft. Can steal the identity of anything it has seen and is not currently known to be close by.
Innate Spellcasting. The Apateonas' innate spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 14). The Apateonas can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: I like ya cut g (see homebrew), Disguise self, Minor illusion
3/day: Hideous laughter, Enthrall, Knock
1/day: Fear, Major image, Dominate person
Alarm (action). Every other space commoner and Apateonas in a 100 ft. radius is alarmed and will go it investigate what is happening
Serrated knife. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 5t ft., one target. Hit: 6 (2d4 + 2) piercing damage.
Tongue stab. Melee Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage. The target must also succeed a DC 12 strength or dexterity save or be grappled as well.
Laser pistol. Ranged Weapon Attack: +1 to hit, range 40/120 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (3d6 + 3) radiant damage.
Alarm (reaction). Every other space commoner in a 100 ft. radius is alarmed and will go it investigate what is happening
When the apatoenes is at less than half hit-points it can use it's mythic action
Metamorphize (Costs 3 Actions). The apatoenes turns into it's true form (see apatoenes (true form) in homebrew)
Description
Looks like a regular space commoner but is far from a regular humanoid feeding from the flesh of it's victims it disguises itself as trusted companions of the victim then kills them with no remorse or mercy.
