Description

Like most Archangels of the Host, Angels of Hallowing are large humanoid beings with six feathery wings and the face of a lion Protruding from their chest. Angels of Hallowing all carry massive shields that are easily twice the size of a human these shields have a pearly look to them but are far harder than steel.

Angels of Hallowing are sent to the material plane with one purpose, to scour an area of anything that angel deems unholy. These divine servants will burn entire swathes of land clean in their relentless crusades, with no regard for the lesser beings that may come to harm. In war Angels of Hallowing are tasked with defending the holdings of the Holy Host.

Angels of Hallowing usually wear heavy plate armour constructed of a material that isn't found on the material plane. In combat they tend to Immobilise enemies in order to execute them one at a time. No Angel of Hallowing would ever be willingly separated from its shield which acts a divine focus as well as an impenetrable barrier, some theologists' suggest the shields these creatures bear are actually grown from the angels own bones.
