Rainfall Cry. 1d4 hours before it rains, the Augurey will cry a mournful tune. This tune can be heard from up to 50ft away, and will continue until it starts to rain. It can also be silenced if a creature the Augurey is non-hostile to succeeds on a DC13 Wisdom (Animal Handling) check.
Repellent Feathers. This creatures feathers cannot hold ink. if they get ink on their feathers, it slides off like oil, leaving no ink behind.
Talons. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d4 + 2) slashing damage.
Description
The Augury is a greenish-grey bird that looks like an underfed vulture, with a mournful stare. it has been widely regarded as a bird of misfortune, as it's cries are said to bring doom, but has recently been found to cry when it is about to rain.
