Traits

Environmental Resistance. The forest walker has advantage on saving throws against nonmagical hazards and effects.

Forest Camouflage. The forest walker has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in wooded terrain.

Reactive. For each branch the forest walker can attack with beyond one, it gets an extra reaction that can be used only for opportunity attacks.

Speak with Beasts and Plants. The forest walker can communicate simple concepts to beasts and plants when it speaks in Sylvan.

Actions

Multiattack. The forest walker makes four branch attacks.

Branch. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage. If the target was already hit by a branch attack this turn, instead of dealing damage, the forest walker can use two of its four branches to grapple the target (escape DC 14).  Until this grapple is ended, the target is restrained and the number of branch attacks the forest walker can make is reduced by 2.

Enroot. If the forest walker is standing on dirt, sand, or clay, it plants its roots, reducing its speed to 0 until it takes a bonus action to end the effect. While enrooted, the forest walker automatically succeeds on saving throws and checks to avoid being moved and it regains 10 hit point at the end of its turn.
