Ephemeral. The demonfire can't wear or carry anything.
Heated Body. A creature that touches the demonfire or hits it with a melee attack while within 5 feet of it takes 3 (1d6) fire damage.
Illumination. The demonfire sheds bright light in a 10-foot radius and dim light in an additional 10 ft.
Incorporeal Movement. The demonfire can move through other creatures and objects as if they were difficult terrain. It takes 2 (1d4) force damage if it ends its turn inside an object.
Touch. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) fire damage. If the target is a creature or a flammable object, it ignites. Until a creature takes an action to douse the fire, the target takes 3 (1d6) fire damage at the start of each of its turns.
Description
Demonfires are a hellish creation of the powerful demon lord Ladrora. They appear as balls of celestial flame, which allows them to lure travelers and adventurers into traps or through monster lairs. While they are only just intelligent enough understand and obey orders from their demonic masters, demonfires take a malicious glee in finishing off their helpless prey.
