Traits

Keen Sight and Smell. Argos has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight or smell.

Actions

Multiattack. Argos makes two attacks: one with its beak and one with its claws.

Beak. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (1d10 + 5) piercing damage.

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 14 (2d8 + 5) slashing damage.

Legendary Actions

Argos can take 4 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Argos regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Stomp. Argos can slam his front feet on the ground, which can cause the ground to shake and rumble. Any creature within five feet of this attack will become stunned, disoriented, and dizzy.

Mega Slap. Argos will stand on his two back legs and slash the nearest creature with his claw. Essentially, it's a more powerful version of his normal claws attack.

Grab 'n Toss. Argos will grab the nearest creature and throw them six feet across the fighting area.

Great Roar (Costs 3 Actions). Argos musters up all of his power and lets out a mighty roar sending any nearby creature flying and taking 2 points of ear-pierce damage.

Description

Argos is a massive owlbear revered by the owlfolk as a godlike creature. Despite being portrayed as a savior, Argos is the exact opposite of how he's shown in the shrines and monuments that dot the owlfolk city - he's a killing machine, capable of taking on almost anything you throw at him.
