Magic Resistance. The Aemidun has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Turn Resistance. The Aemidun has advantage on saving throws against any effect that turns undead.
Innate Spellcasting. The Aemidun's spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The Aemidun can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: alter self, vampiric touch
1/day each: animate dead, create undead, soul cage
Multiattack. The Aemidun makes two melee attacks.
Necrotic Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 9 (1d10 + 4) slashing damage and 5 (2d4) necrotic damage.
Turn/Command Undead. Each undead that can see or hear the Aemidun within 30 feet of it must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from the Aemidun as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of it. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action. An undead of CR 1 or lower that fails its save instead falls under the Aemidun's control for 1 minute.
Summon Shadow (1/Day). The Aemidun's animates its shadow. The shadow appears in an unoccupied space within 60 feet of the Aemidun and acts as its ally. It remains for 1 minute, until it or the Aemidun dies, or until the Aemidun dismisses it as an action.
Description
Eleti are a race of awakened skeletons of unknown origins. Among the eleti, it is a perpetually incomplete quest to reach a balance between their undead nature and their craving for the life they cannot have. Whether this craving leads to acts of kindness or destruction, it is rarely denied. Those who have some success in this quest are known as Aemidun. They study necromancy and undeath from within, and although such knowledge is considered taboo to others, to the eleti it is simply the understanding of themselves.
