Traits

Standing Leap. The War Bulette's long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.

Siege Monster. The War Bulette deals double damage to objects and structures.

Obedient. The War Bulette has advantage against Charm and Fear effects so long as it has a master, if it's Master is within 10ft., the Bulette is considered immune to Charm and Fear effects, the War Bulette cannot be summoned by a Bulette Matron and cannot be effected by the Matron's Enrage trait.

Attunement Sigil. The War Bulette can be attuned to like a magic item (without using an attunement slot) to provide greater control over the Bulette, allowing it to carry out some more complex commands and allows the Bulette to become the target of some spells that would have otherwise targeted it's master, any Spellcaster can attune to the Bulette a second time to use the Bulette as a familiar (this second attunement uses an attunement slot).

Serrated Armor. Enemies attempting to attack the War Bulette with unarmed or natural attacks take 2d6 Slashing damage and such attacks from creatures size Large or smaller deal no damage, enemies attacking the Bulette with weapons that deal Slashing damage or do not have Reach risk being disarmed instead.

Actions

Multiattack. The War Bulette can make three bite attacks or three Slam attacks in any combination of the two, the Bulette can also target up to three separate enemies for each attack, however attacks against the additional targets are made at disadvantage.

Bite.
Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 46 (6d12 + 8) piercing damage, when the War Bulette lands a successful bite attack it can attempt to grapple the target it is biting so long as it is size Medium or smaller, the creature it is grappling remains grappled even if the Bulette becomes incapacitated.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +2 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 39 (4d8 + 6/2d12 + 2) bludgeoning/slashing damage, when a target size Large or smaller is hit by a Slam attack it must make a DC 18 strength check or be knocked back 5 ft., for every size increment smaller then Large the target is knocked back an additional 5 ft., if the target is knocked back by the attack they must pass a DC 16 dexterity check or fall prone and become stunned for 1d4 rounds, the Bulette's slam attacks automatically hit a target it has grappled, these attacks cannot knock the target back or prone, and the target does not take slashing damage from the slam attacks, however with every slam attack there is a chance that the target is stunned for 1d4 rounds if the target were to be stunned three times by the slam attack in this manner on the third time before the duration of the stun is over that target is knocked unconscious instead.

Charge. If the War Bulette moves at least 20 ft. during it's turn any enemies it moves towards cannot block it's movement so long as they are size Medium or smaller, enemies the Bulette collides with are knocked prone and back 5 ft. in a random direction away from the Bulette (potentially back into the Bulette's path), and take 3d6 Bludgeoning Damage and 1d8 Slashing damage, while the Bulette is charging certain objects such as wooden walls offer no resistance to stop the Bulette, on the turn a War Bulette charges it cannot benefit from Multiattack.

Deadly Leap. If the War Bulette jumps at least 15 feet as part of its movement, it can then use this action to land on its feet in a space that contains one or more other creatures. Each of those creatures must succeed on a DC 16 Strength or Dexterity saving throw (target's choice) or be knocked prone and take 14 (3d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage plus 14 (3d6 + 4) slashing damage. On a successful save, the creature takes only half the damage, isn't knocked prone, and is pushed 5 feet out of the Bulette's space into an unoccupied space of the creature's choice. If no unoccupied space is within range, the creature instead falls prone in the Bulette's space.

Reactions

Guardian. So long as the War Bulette is within both movement range of it's master and any enemy, should a enemy move towards it's master the Bulette can move to any point that it can reach that is directly between the enemy and it's Master, if an enemy attempts a non-spell ranged attack the Bulette can also use this reaction, however after movement it becomes the target of the attack instead, the attack gains advantage and if it hits regardless of the result automatically crits.

Shove. If the War Bulette's master is about to be attacked by a melee attack, the Bulette can shove it's master out of the way of the attack, up to 10 ft. away knocking them prone and dealing 1d4 Bludgeoning damage, the Bulette then gets hit by the attack instead, if the attack deals Bludgeoning damage and crits (and isn't negated in some way by the Bulette's Serrated Armor trait), there is a chance the Bulette is either stunned for 1d4 rounds or knocked unconscious, the Bulette must be adjacent to it's master to use this reaction.

Relentless. If a enemy is knocked back by the War Bulette's slam attack the Bulette can move 5ft., towards that target and make an additional slam attack that does not count towards it's total number of attacks granted by Multiattack, this trait only works against creatures in the Large size category.

Description

A tamed Bulette outfitted with sharp jagged armor that isn't suitable to ride on, War Bulettes are used often by richer kingdoms when possible to destroy fortifications that more primitive foes might employ however, some of the more brave spellcasters have been known to take advantage of the magic used to keep the Bulettes mostly tame to make the beasts into formidable bodyguards and familiars, and the Bulettes have proven to be more obedient and loyal then most other creatures so long as they are wearing the armor placed upon them.
