Traits

 Putrid Odor. Any creature that ends or begins its turn within 10 feet of the wendigo has to make a DC 15 constitution saving throw or take 2d4 necrotic damage. 

Actions

Frighting Presence. The wendigo chooses two targets within 30 feet of it and the targets have to make a DC 17 wisdom saving throw or be frightened

Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, range 5 ft, 1 target. Hit: 11 (3d6+2) slashing damage.  

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack. +2 to hit, range 5 ft, 1 target. Hit: 19 (4d4+5) piercing damage. When the target is hit it must make a DC 12 constitution saving throw or be afflicted by the wendigos venom. If not taken care of in 8 hours the afflicted one will started to turn into a wendigo the only way to revert this is by the casting of a Wish spell.

Screech. Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, range 15 ft cone, any target in the cone. Hit: 22 (4d10+6) force damage. The targets need to make a DC 13 wisdom saving throw or be deafened.

Scratch. After the wendigo uses the screech action it ca use its bonus action to attack a enemy within 5 ft. with a claw attack.

Scratch. When a enemy moves outside the wendigo's melee attack range the wendigo can choose to attack with a claw.

Legendary Actions

The wendigo has two legendary actions that are regained at the top of a round of combat. The wendigo can use a legendary action at the end of its turn or at the end of a enemies turn. The wendigo also has two legendary resistances that are regained at the end of a long rest. A legendary resistance can be used as a reaction against a spell or similar effect.

Multi-attack (Costs 1 Actions). The wendigo attacks twice, one bite attack and one claw attack , or two bite attacks or two claw attacks.

Description

The wendigo is a humanoid made when a human or similar being has to resort to cannibalism to survive. Because of this wendigo are usually found near freezing mountains, less traveled caverns, dense forests, swamps, etc. With elongated limbs and gray skin, wendigos like dark areas or areas where there's little to no natural light. With the gray skin and dark beady eyes akin to nocturnal hunting and low light living, the wendigo is sensitive to light and fire with having lived in the dark. Very rarely walking on two legs, the wendigo moves around on its fours rather fast and nimble, but with strength behind the frail limbs. The only other way to become a wendigo is to be bitten by one, this affliction takes full effect after 8 hours if not dealt with. This is painful for the afflicted as their limbs start to elongate and teeth are replaced fangs. Wendigo are never seen in groups because they will eat and attack anything that can sustain it for the day or longer. For a strange reason these creatures seem to be resistant to non-magical damage and immune to poison and necrotic damage.
