Sneak Attack. The ranger knows how to strike the critical weak point against an unknowing foe. Once per turn, it can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature who is unaware of their presence. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.
Silent Stalk. The ranger's trained footsteps and special footwear make inaudible or no sound, regardless of the surface it walks on.
Ranger Cloak. Rangers choose to wear a hooded cloak based on which environment they will be entering. The cloaks are mottled, and can be forest green, desert yellow, or snow white. The cloak gives the ranger advantage on stealth checks when hiding in an environment matching the cloak.

Uncanny Dodge. When an attacker that the ranger can see hits it with an attack, it can use its reaction to halve the attack’s damage against it.
Description
The Ranger Corps is a special forces component of the kingdom of Araluen's army. They are experts in stealth, espionage, assassination, detective work, and VIP security. Rangers are usually selected from orphan boys, and are trained alongside an experienced ranger from youth until adulthood. The rigorous training includes unseen movement, archery, knife throwing, martial arts, espionage, and other skills. Rangers wear special camouflage cloaks to help their stealth. Each ranger also has a personal horse, which is small and shaggy, but incredibly fast, strong, and has unrivalled stamina. The ranger horse also returns on a whistle, and will buck off someone who tries to ride it without first whispering a password.
Rangers are regularly given missions by the Ranger Corps commander, anything from mundane patrols and investigating into local disturbances, all the way to infiltrating other kingdoms and working behind enemy lines. Araluen archers use massive heavy longbows made of yew wood, and only they have the specific muscles developed over a lifetime that can draw their enormous heavy bows. Their longbow can pierce straight through chainmail and knock a man off his horse. However, arrows CANNOT penetrate plate armor.
