Alter Memories. When Jenna cast an enchantment spell to charm one or more creatures, she can alter one creature’s understanding so that it remains unaware of being charmed.

Additionally, once before the spell expires, she can use her action to try to make the chosen creature forget some of the time it spent charmed. The creature must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw (DC 19) or lose 4 hours of its memories. She can make the creature forget less time, and the amount of time can’t exceed the duration of her enchantment spell.

Ambusher. Baroness Jenna Iresor, Archmage of Industry has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

Magic Resistance. Baroness Jenna Iresor, Archmage of Industry has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). When Baroness Jenna Iresor fails a saving throw, she can choose to succeed instead.

Shapechanger. Baroness Jenna Iresor, Archmage of Industry can use its action to polymorph into a Small or Medium humanoid it has seen, or back into its true form. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Spell Mastery. Jenna can cast catnap and enemies abound once per long rest each without expending a spell slot. These spells are always prepared and don't count against her number of prepared spells.

Split Enchantment. When Jenna casts an enchantment spell of 1st level or higher that targets only one creature, she can have it target a second creature.

Surprise Attack. If Jenna surprises a creature and hits it with an attack during the first round of combat, the target takes an extra 10 (3d6) damage from the attack.

Spellcasting. Baroness Jenna Iresor, Archmage of Industry is a 20th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 19, +11 to hit with spell attacks). They can cast charm person and hold person at will and has the following wizard spells prepared:

Cantrips (at will): fire bolt, light, mage hand, mind sliver, prestidigitation

1st level (4 slots): charm person, detect magic, identify, mage armor*, tasha's hideous laughter

2nd level (3 slots): hold person, mirror image, misty step, tasha's mind whip

3rd level (3 slots): catnap, counterspell, enemies abound

4th level (3 slots): charm monster, confusion

5th level (3 slots): dominate person, geas, modify memory, steel wind strike, synaptic static

6th level (2 slots): Iresor's ire, mass suggestion, Otto's irresistible dance

7th level (2 slots): power word pain, teleport

8th level (1 slot): feeblemind, power word stun

9th level (1 slot): power word kill, psychic scream

*Jenna casts these spells on itself before combat.

Actions

Multiattack. Jenna makes two melee attacks.

Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) piercing damage.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) bludgeoning damage.

Hypnotic Gaze. Choose one creature that Jenna can see within 5 feet of her. If the target can see or hear you, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC 19) or be charmed by her until the end of her next turn. The charmed creature’s speed drops to 0, and the creature is incapacitated and visibly dazed.

On subsequent turns, she can use her action to maintain this effect, extending its duration until the end of her next turn. However, the effect ends if she moves more than 5 feet away from the creature, if the creature can neither see nor hear her, or if the creature takes damage.

Once the effect ends, or if the creature succeeds on its initial saving throw against this effect, she can’t use this feature on that creature again until she finishes a long rest.

Read Thoughts. Jenna magically reads the surface thoughts of one creature within 60 feet of it. The effect can penetrate barriers, but 3 feet of wood or dirt, 2 feet of stone, 2 inches of metal, or a thin sheet of lead blocks it. While the target is in range, Jenna can continue reading its thoughts, as long as Jenna's concentration isn't broken (as if concentrating on a spell). While reading the target's mind, Jenna has advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Deception, Intimidation, and Persuasion) checks against the target.

Reactions

Instinctive Charm. When a creature Jenna can see within 30 feet of her makes an attack roll against her, she can use her reaction to divert the attack, provided that another creature is within the attack’s range. The attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 19). On a failed save, the attacker must target the creature that is closest to it, not including her or itself. If multiple creatures are closest, the attacker chooses which one to target. On a successful save, she can’t use this feature on the attacker again until she finishes a long rest.

She must choose to use this feature before knowing whether the attack hits or misses. Creatures that can’t be charmed are immune to this effect.

Legendary Actions

Jenna Iresor can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. She regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

Cantrip. Jenna Iresor casts a cantrip.

Direct Charmed Creature (Costs 2 Actions). Jenna Iresor can give simple instructions to a creature she has charmed.

Cast a Spell (3 Actions).  Jenna Iresor casts a spell of 1st level or higher with a casting time of 1 action.

Description

One of the younger members of the assembly, Jenna is known for her business acumen and her extravagant lifestyle. By hiding her nature as a doppelganger and using memory-altering magics at a young age to fabricate a false past, Jenna constructed her human persona from the ground up, leveraging her powers of deception to essentially write herself into history as a Clovis Concord expatriate. She helps oversee central guild business in Rexxentrum under Guildmaster Kai Arness, and helps Exchequer Aethia Drooze organize the collection of tithes through starostas across the empire.
