Traits

Discorporation. When the Avatar of Arcadies dies, its body is destroyed but it's essence returns to the Throne of Arcana in the Temple of the Gods, and Arcadies may not manifest physical form for some time.

Innate Spellcasting (3/Day). Arcadies can innately cast Divine Word (spell save DC 23). His spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Legendary Resistance (5/day). When Arcadies fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Limited Magic Immunity. Unless he wishes to be affected, Arcadies is immune to spells of 6th level or lower. He has advantage on saving throws against all other spells and magical effects.

Magic Weapons. Arcadies' weapon attacks are magical.

Spellcasting. The Avatar of Arcadies is a 20th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 23, +15 to hit with spell attacks). The Avatar of Aracdies has following Sorcerer spells prepared:

Font of Magic. The Avatar of Arcadies has 20 Sorcery Points, and regains 4 every time he finishes a short rest. The Avatar can use this to craft spells in the following way;

  • Quickened Spell: When the Avatar cast a spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can spend 2 sorcery points to change the casting time to 1 bonus action for this casting.
  • Distant Spell: When you cast a spell that has a range of 5 feet or greater, you can spend 1 sorcery point to double the range of the spell.
  • Extended Spell: When you cast a spell that has a duration of 1 minute or longer, you can spend 1 sorcery point to double its duration, to a maximum duration of 24 hours.
  • Empowered Spell: When you roll damage for a spell, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll a number of the damage dice up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one). You must use the new rolls.
Actions

Storm Guide. The Avatar of Arcadies can manipulate a weather patterns around him,  causing rain to stop falling, create windy conditions or end them.

Blinding Touch. Melee Spell Attack: +15 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 10 (3d6) radiant damage. The target must succeed on a DC 23 Constitution saving throw or be Blinded for 1 minute. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Lightning Breath (Recharge 5–6). The Avatar exhales lightning in a 90-­foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in that line must make a DC 19 Dexterity saving throw, taking 66 (12d10) lightning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Reactions

Storm's Fury. When the Avatar is hit by a melee attack, it can use its reaction to cause the attacker to take 20 points of lightning damage.

Legendary Actions

The Avatar can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. Avatar regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

At-Will Spell. The Avatar casts one of his at-will spells.

Cast a Spell (Costs 3 Actions). The sphinx casts a spell from its list of prepared spells, using a spell slot as normal.
