Shapechanger. The Valravn can use its action to polymorph into a humanoid creature, a raven, a wolf, or back into its true form. Its statistics, other than its size, are the same in each form. Any equipment it is wearing or carrying isn't transformed. It reverts to its true form if it dies.

Flyby.  The Valravn doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

Innate Spellcasting (3/Day). The Valravn can innately cast Charm Person (spell save DC 13), requiring no material components. Its innate spellcasting ability is Charisma.

Actions

Multiattack. The Valravn makes two shortsword attacks.

Shortsword (humanoid form only). Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage.

Life Drain. Melee Spell Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the creature finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
