Description
Aristophontes of Kuklos is the personal servant to Myrkul, the god of death. He is what is known as an Avatar of Death, a creature that reaps the souls who are unfortunate enough to have accidentally summoned them from a Deck of many things, among other magic items.
Because he is a literal embodiment of death itself, Aristophontes is a cold, cruel and calculating psychopath, feeling no emotion for anything including himself. Even the very things he lays his skeletal hands upon cause grief and sorrow for those around him. When he wields his scythe, it causes just as much mental damage as material.
Aristophontes also shares a deadlier version of a bodak's infamous gaze, which renders a near death experience to those unfortunate enough to encounter him.
Undead Nature. Aristophontes does not need to eat, drink, sleep, or breathe.
