Magic Fusing. When a Weave Hunter uses its Magic Absorption reaction, If the spell has a damage type the Weave Hunter gains resistance to that damage type, as well as the extra damage done by the bite and claw attack becomes that damage type. If the spell has a condition the Weave Hunter gains advantage on saving throws that cause that condition. It can only hold one spell in this manner at a time and has to discharge it before it can use this ability again.
Multiattack. The Weave Hunter makes two attacks: one with its bite and one with its claws.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) force damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d6 + 6) slashing damage plus 7 (2d6) force damage.
Spell Discharge. If the Weave Hunter has Absorbed a magical effect, it can discharge it as if it was being cast by the original caster at a target of its choice following the spell rules.
Magic Absorption. When a spell is cast at the Weave Hunter and it can use its reaction to absorb the spell, merging it with its body and taking half damage.
Description
A Weave Hunter has a similar body to a wyvern, but without a tail and a beak like mouth, is black or grey in coloring normally, but changes depending on what it has absorbed.
