Description
A large tiger-like feline with dark grey fur, fierce green eyes, and bone plates in various parts of its body such as along the spine, over the ribs, at the shoulders and hip joints, at the elbows and ankles, top of its head, around the neck and along bottom and sides of the lower jaw.
The umbraclaw is intelligent, can even speak, and may use strategic tactics in a fight. If it is losing against numerous foes it may retreat and stalk them looking for the opportunity to take one out alone.
Unless provoked or unless the unwary traveller has entered its territory the umbraclaw is not likely to pick a fight with humanoids and will usually warn them to stay away.
