Description
Mature true dragons are able to use a secret ritual that creates wing drakes from an unfertilized dragon egg. These lesser dragons fill a role similar to the domesticated animals of other civilized races - hunting game and pests, guarding homes, or acting as messengers and beasts of burden.
Very old dragons may have dozens of wing drakes in their command, all of which serve them as faithfully as any well-trained dog.
