Divine Eminence. As a bonus action, the bishop can expend a spell slot to cause its melee weapon attacks to magically deal an extra 18 (4d8) radiant damage to a target on a hit. This benefit lasts until the end of the turn. If the bishop expends a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the extra damage increases by 1d6 for each level above 1st.
Blessed Healer. When the bishop casts a healing spell on a creature, the bishop regains HP equal to 2 + the spell's level.
Spellcasting. The bishop is a 9th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13, +5 to hit with spell attacks). The priest has the following cleric spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): light, sacred flame, thaumaturgy, guidance
1st level (4 slots): cure wounds, guiding bolt, sanctuary, shield of faith, bless, protection from evil and good
2nd level (3 slots): lesser restoration, spiritual weapon, zone of truth, aid,
3rd level (3 slots): dispel magic, spirit guardians, revivify, beacon of hope
4th level (3 slots): death ward, divination, guardian of faith, freedom of movement
5th level (1 slot): greater restoration, mass cure wounds, raise dead, dispel evil and good
Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d8 + 1) bludgeoning damage. 6 (1d10 + 1) bludgeoning damage when wielded with two hands.
Channel Divinity: Preserve Life. Twice per short rest, the bishop can channel divine energy directly from its deity to heal nearby allies. The bishop restore up to 45 HP divided among any creatures within 30 ft. The amount of HP restored cannot exceed half of the creature's maximum HP.
Description
Bishops are members of the clergy that have power over all churches in a particular area, that all worship a particular deity. They are higher up in the hierarchy than ordinary priests or acolytes. Bishops wield even stronger divine magic directly from their deity.
