Chalice Emblem. When Zukekial casts a spell that restores hit points, he or a creature within 30 feet of him regains 15 (1d8+11) hit points.
Dragon Hunter. Once per day, Zukekial may focus his senses as an action to magically discern the distance and direction to the closest green dragon within 30 miles of him.
Magic Weapons. Zukekial's weapon attacks are magical.
Multiattack. Zukekial casts a spell and makes two attacks with the Blackthorn Scimistaff.
Blackthorn Scimistaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft., 1 target. Hit: 11 (1d12 + 5) slashing damage.
Astral Shift. Zukekial enters the Astral Plane along with everything he is wearing and carrying. He remains there until he uses an action to return to the plane he was on. He reappears in the last space he occupied, or if that space is occupied, the nearest unoccupied space.
Green Dragon Drinking Horn. Twice per day, after taking damage, Zukekial may regain 7 (1d4 + 5) hit points as a reaction.
Description
Zukekial is possibly the last melanistic aaracockra in existence. After narrowly escaping Emperor Xolugan's genocide of his kind, he found sanctuary in the forest. In the wilderness, he was visited by Couatl who taught him the ancient ways, leading to him becoming a druid. When a magical plague ravaged the city of Westbasin, he left his exile and joined the community as a healer, wearing a bird-like mask to hide his identity. After Zukekial defeated the mage who was the cause of the plague, a Tarrasque was awakened and began to destroy Westbasin. With his true identity revealed, Zukekial used the Robe of Stars and brought the Tarrasque into the astral plane. There, he battled the Tarrasque for weeks before slaying the titan, banishing it until its eventual rebirth. Zukekial's time in the astral plane made him wise and powerful, even granting him the ability to become partially incorporeal at will.
