Shadow Stealth. While in dim light or darkness, the alp can take the Hide action as a bonus action.
Sunlight Sensitivity. While in sunlight, the alp has disadvantage on attack rolls, as well as on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight
Noxious Cloud. The Alp unleashed a cloud of toxic gas that wreaks of rotten flesh in a 20ft radius around itself. Those caught within the cloud must make a DC 12 (Constitution) saving throw, or be placed unconscious for 1 hour. Those who resist this effect will have disadvantage on their next attack, but will be immune hence forth for 24 Hours.
Alp's Curse. Those who are unlucky and fall unconscious in battle can be effected by what is known as the Alp's curse. When afflicted by said curse, the Alp can enter one's dreams and cause the victim to experience never ending nightmares. The only way to break the curse is with either a "Remove Curse" spell that'll force the Alp from the victim's body. Or the Victim must find a way to remove the curse from within the nightmare.
Innate Spellcasting. The alp’s innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 13). The alp can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
- At will: invisibility (self only)
- 3/day each: silent image, sleep
- 1/day each: bestow curse, dream
Sleeper’s Slap. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (2d4 + 3) bludgeoning damage, and, if the target was sleeping or unconscious before it was hit, it must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened and restrained for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the restrained condition on itself on a success. The creature must succeed on another saving throw on a following round to end the frightened condition.
Description
Thought to have been a Faerie afflicted by the curse brought on by the Orcish Shaman's during the Green Tide. Alp's are surprisingly a new race of creatures brought to Alandria. Known for only residing around or within the Bramble Wood. These creatures are horrific in nature.
Bringer of Nightmares. Believed to be the horrid result of of a faerie afflicted with dark magics, an alp lives to torment anyone it can. It takes particular delight in turning the dreams of sleeping victims into bloodcurdling nightmares as it watches them toss and turn, leering from the edge of the bed. The alp uses its abilities to paralyze its victims as they wake, sitting atop them and forcing them to lie there in utter terror, unable to move or to scream for help before it vanishes.
Feaster of Terrors. Not only is it believed that the Alp cherishes those who toss and turn in bed. It is also thought that beast also feasts on the insecurities and fears of those it torments. Taking their emotions as raw sustenance.
Day Stalker. Though Alps are nocturnal, it has been studied that the creature also move about during the day, looking for travelers that maybe wandering about. Upon picking its victim the Alp will be known to stalk its prey for hours till they stop and rest.

Posted Nov 21, 2021Awesome job! Might give it one more revision and give it multi attack. I don't think that would be unreasonable.
