Spider Climb. The Angry Giant Cave Walrus can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

False Appearance. While the Angry Giant Cave Walrus remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal cave formation, such as a walrus shaped boulder with two tusk shaped stalactites.

Actions

Multiattack. The walrus makes two attacks: one with its body flop and one with its tusks.

Body Flop. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Tusks. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 16 (3d6 + 6) piercing damage.

Flop from Above. The walrus drops from its camouflaged position on an unsuspecting target below. Each creature in a 5-foot radius around the landing zone must make a DC14 Dexterity saving throw. On a failure the creature takes 30 (4d8 + 12) bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone under the walrus. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone .

While prone in this way the creature is restrained. A creature can use an action to crawl out under the walrus.

Description

The Angry Giant Cave Walrus is an elusive ambush predator, sometimes encountered in subterranean caverns.

Hanging from cave ceilings , perfectly camouflaged - as walruses usually are - it waits for unsuspecting prey to wander into its hunting grounds.

The prey rarely sees the 12,000 pounds of angry walrus coming.
