Description
Towering over 8 feet and wrapped in muscle, the bearilla is truly a awesome beast. The bearilla gains its name from its massive upper body and particular gait - it walks on its knuckles like a gorilla. Only the strongest of beast and man can defeat the bearilla, a true apex predator as it plows through foes, swiping them left and right, tearing their armor to ribbons with razor claws, and crushing them into the ground with its massive paws.
The bearilla is reckoned to be a failed spell attempting to create a werebear, instead creating a horrible amalgamation of human and beast; when wounded and weak, the bearilla will morph into a much weaker humanoid-like creature. This creature strikes true revulsion into the hearts of onlookers; it stand just as tall as its bearilla counterpart, balancing on arm several feet long, no thicker than a normal human's, its torso stretched back connecting to its short legs, with a human face leering from between its shoulders. A bearilla killed will die as a humanoid, but one that dies of age or other natural causes will rest forever as a bearilla.
