Silent Ambusher. The Angler Spider has advantage on any creature it surprises. Creatures caught in the Sticky Web Shot and/or Web are considered surprised until they end the grapple/restrained.
Spider Climb. The Angler Spider can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.
Web Sense. While in contact with a web, the Angler Spider knows the exact location of any other creature in contact with the same web.
Web Walker. The Angler Spider ignores movement restrictions caused by webbing.
Angler's Web. The Angler Spider gets its name from the thin strands of webbing it hangs across cave passageways. A creature can see the thin stands of webbing with a Survival Check (DC 16).
Multiattack. The Angler Spider makes one attack with its Sticky Web Shot, uses Reel and makes one attack with its bite (if the target is within range); then one bite attack.
Sticky Web Shot. Ranged Attack: +5 to hit, reach 50 ft. Hit: The target is grappled, until the grappled ends, the target is restrained. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 14 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 12; hp 10; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
Reel. The Angler Spider pulls the target creature by it up to 25 feet straight toward it.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage, and the target must make a DC 12 Constitution saving throw, taking 9 (2d8) poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. If the poison damage reduces the target to 0 hit points, the target is stable but poisoned for 1 hour, even after regaining hit points, and is paralyzed while poisoned in this way.
Web (Recharge 5–6). Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, range 30/60 ft., one creature. Hit: The target is restrained by webbing. As an action, the restrained target can make a DC 14 Strength check, bursting the webbing on a success. The webbing can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 12; hp 10; vulnerability to fire damage; immunity to bludgeoning, poison, and psychic damage).
Extra Reel. If the Angler Spider did not make a bite attack on it's turn it can use a reaction to pull any grappled creature by it up to 25 feet straight toward it.
