Description
Avarices are elemental embodiment of greed and treasure. They are servants of the gods and powerful wizards alike, protecting their massive hoards from those who would covet them. Constructs of treasure and coin, they cleverly lie in wait and ensnare unwary looters and adventurers alike.
Greed Incarnate. Avarices embody the greed of those around them. They consider treasure to be that which is subjectively valuable to those in close proximity and use the individual vices and desires of those around them to their advantage.
Innate Trappers. Avarices do not hold free will and act purely out of instinct and celestial will. They merge themselves into treasure and lie in wait, slowly growing and amassing wealth. Until a strong will is exerted over them, they remain inert and patiently wait until discovery.
